Hotel staff and facility were excellent.

Only uncomfortable moment I had was when I went to the restaurant. There was a who you are!? look when I went in. No greeting or not a single word but a interogating look. They could have just say to wait or something to me in portuguese or in any other languages. But the service afterwards was not bad.

Spacious & clean hotel, its location is amazing and incredible next to Lisboa and Sintra historic, train station and station / buses. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant, overall. The breakfast is sensational with enough variation in the selected choises, has outstanding food...

We had a great stay at a historic hotel near Lisbon. The impressive halls and gardens of the nearby royal palace were a must-see. The location was perfect, just a short cab ride away from Lisbon. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the beautiful scenic former palace kitchen was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

It was clean, comfortable, the service was excellent and the food was of excellent quality.

They seem to tolerate smoking in rooms even when their policy is a no smoking policy.l

The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to offer directions to a variety of places we visited. The room/hotel was very comfortable and well placed for what we wanted to do while in Lisbon.

I liked this pleasant and luxurious place, stayed there for 3 nights. Excellent and delicious breakfast with enough variation in the selected choices was available. - This was a lovely location just off the train station, a 20-minute ride to Lisbon/Estoril and Sintra historic. - It was also near the main attractions around Lisbon.

Amazing Historical Atmosphere, Convenient location This place was a great find for our city trip! the historical atmosphere of the building was just amazing, with period furniture that really transported us back in time. We also loved the convenient location, with easy access to the main highway and touristic spots in nearby areas. the friendly and helpful staff was definitely a plus, providing us with great recommendations on where to eat and visit. Bonus points for the delicious breakfast that filled us up and gave us the energy to explore the city!

Needs some renovations, Lack of amenities the hotel could use some renovations, as the rooms and facilities looked a bit old and worn out. we were a bit disappointed with the lack of amenities in the hotel, such as a gym or spa, that we usually enjoy in other hotels we visit.

The breakfast was sensational and delicious with a variety of awesome foods. Excellent location in a relatively quiet area, right by restaurants, supermarkets, and a short walk to the train station as well as an 18th Century palace.
